High Strength Stainless Steel Belt

 

Mingke AT1200 (previous model: MK-1200SA) is a variation austenitic stainless steel of the base 18-8 grade, with a higher chromium and lower carbon content. It is a high corrosion resistant steel with good wear resistance. This makes it the universal choice for food and chemical industries (cooling, freezing and drying processes). Another advantage is that it is easy to repair.

Dynamic Strength

The fatigue limit is defined as the reverse bending stress at which 50% of the test specimen withstand a minimum of 2x106 load cycles. These values refer to 20°C (68 °F), a normal dry atmosphere and standard prepared specimen. The fatigue limit for the parent material is approximately ±470 MPa (68 Ksi).

 

Corrosion Resistance

Mingke AT1200 exhibits excellent resistance to corrosive environment such as the chemical, textile, petroleum, food and dairy industries. By reducing the carbon content in AT1200, welding operations will not cause carbide precipitation that can lead to intergranular corrosion.

 

Weldability

Mingke AT1200 is generally considered to be weldable by the common fusion and resistance techniques. Special consideration is required to avoid weld “hot cracking” by assuring formation of ferrite in the weld deposit. When a weld filler is needed, AWS E/ER 308,308L are most specified.

Tips: Max. width of a single belt is 1540mm, customized sizes via cutting or longitudinal welding are available.
